The Institute for the Transformation of Catholic Education is grateful to be able to attend and present at both NCEA’s Catholic Leadership Summit in Phoenix, AZ this October and Notre Dame’s ACE Leadership Conference in November this year.
Drs. Hagan and Kremer will present at CLS while Dr. Sweda will attend CLS and present at ACE the following month. We encourage you to join their sessions and to say hello if you will be attending either conference!
At CLS, Dr. Andrew Kremer will be presenting “From Page to Practice: Forming Catholic School Principals Through the Lens of Vatican Documents,” which is designed as a practical, actionable guide to using Vatican documents as a core resource for forming current and aspiring Catholic school leaders.
Dr. Hagan’s presentation, “Seven Steps to Transforming Diocesan Administrator Meetings,” also at CLS, outlines seven concrete practices—ranging from prayerful ambiance to fostering laughter—that transform meetings into opportunities for mission alignment, leadership formation, and system-wide engagement.
A month later at ACE, Dr. Sweda will present “Board Governance Committees: Mission-Critical Stewards of Hope,” which will give participants examples, templates, and action steps to improve both the practical and spiritual dimensions of board operations through the service of a governance committee.
Drs. Hagan, Kremer, and Sweda have found these conferences to be fruitful experiences that enable them to reconnect with Catholic educators and administrators across the United States, and they look forward to seeing you there!
