Lumen Accreditation Gains College Board and State Approvals

In May 2025, Lumen Accreditation was officially approved as one of the College Board’s recognized accrediting agencies. This approval affirms the excellent educational experiences that Lumen Accredited schools provide, supporting students as they apply to colleges and universities.

In its statement of approval, the College Board shared, “Your commitment to educational excellence aligns perfectly with our mission, and we’re confident this collaboration will be both impactful and rewarding.”

In addition to approval by the College Board, Lumen Accreditation is pleased to announce two additional recognitions at the state level. In April, Lumen was approved by The Minnesota Nonpublic Education Council (MNEC). Lumen has also been recognized by MO Scholars in Missouri, which means that schools are no longer required to maintain dual accreditation to receive state vouchers.

Lumen Accreditation looks forward to serving schools across the country; you can visit the Lumen Accreditation page to learn more about how your school or diocese may be benefited by Lumen. If you would like to apply to Lumen Accreditation, please complete our application.
