ITCE is pleased to announce that Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, IN will be joining Lumen Accreditation as a pilot school for the 2023-2024 school year.
Cathedral will join both the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis in Minnesota and St. John Paul the Great Catholic School in Denver, CO as pilots in Lumen Accreditation’s St. Augustine cohort. Each Lumen Accreditation member diocese or school is placed into a cohort, based on ITCE’s patron saints and the year in which they joined.
Lumen Accreditation, offered through The Catholic University of America, was formally recognized as an approved accreditor by the Indiana State Board of Education this May. We are excited to begin serving Indiana Catholic schools with full support from the State.
“Given Lumen Accreditation’s recent approval in Indiana, we are excited to partner with such a strong representative of Catholic schools in Indiana during our pilot year,” shared Dr. Daryl Hagan, ITCE’s Interim Director and Director of Accreditation.
Cathedral, a high school in the Holy Cross tradition, aims to transform the hearts and minds of a diverse group of students to have the competence to see and the courage to act.
ITCE is excited to add Cathedral to the 2023-2024 Lumen Accreditation pilot year as a school that embodies Catholic values and strives to live out their faith throughout all areas of the school.
